Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä (/ɹɛ̋b/ /fɒ̄æ/ [sophisticated] [band (musical group)]) is a subtropical Town located in the Doûvnḱínts̄r Region of the Confederation of Goblin Tribes.

The name Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä is derived from the Goblin language, as Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä was founded by Szir Bigdrund Cleer, who was culturaly Goblin.

Climate

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä has a yearly average temperature of 22°C (71°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 30°C (86°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 14°C (57°F). Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä receives an average of 279 cm/y (109 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2900 m (9514 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä was founded durring the late 13th century in fall of the year 1189, by Szir Bigdrund Cleer. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of spacious flagstone streets which form octogonal paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. The town's political statment focused walls are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.

A look around Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä is like looking into a university’s plaza on the day before an exam. People rush about to-and-fro. Discarded scrolls and quills are dotted around town. In spite of many locals discussing academic topics, there’s little sign of any organized groups for any of that talk. Infact, the town seems disordered in general with everything scattered helter skelter about.

Civic Infrastructure

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä's parks.

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä.

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä's natural decorations nor waterways.

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.

Due to the actions of local Kami, summer is short in Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä.

The Gremlin near Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Gä̋w Faw̄ä Kēä's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves reenactments to channel Augury energies of tier 3 via recitation of scripture.
